Terms of appointment

This is a voluntary position, but reasonable expenses are payable in accordance with the RSPCA’s expenses policy. Time commitment will consist of 3-4 Committee meetings per year, which last c. two hours plus preparation time. These meetings are likely to be held in London or via video conference. Following appointment, Committee members serve up until the conclusion of the Society’s next AGM, but may be reappointed for a further term at the discretion of the Board.

Application process

If you wish to apply, you will be required to submit the following:

  • A comprehensive CV setting out your career history and including relevant details of any professional qualifications.

  • A short supporting statement (maximum two sides A4, minimum size 11 point) giving evidence of your ability to meet the essential criteria for the role. Please provide specific examples to demonstrate how you meet each of the areas identified in the person specification.

  • In addition, please also complete and return our EDI monitoring form.
